How Uteha Nasha brandy was created

Our story begins in the small, idyllic village of Donja Toponica, with less than 100 inhabitants. Generations passed through time under the peaceful roofs of the village, enjoying homemade brandy made from the autochthonous plum variety Moravke, one of the best quality varieties in the region. The variety that is the heart of our tradition.

As in every family from our region, there was a tradition of making brandy, and within our family it was always done with Moravka plum. Before we stepped into the market, we kept a limited amount of brandy, without a specific idea to start this business.

Donja Toponica, selo blagosloveno mirnom atmosferom, poslužilo je kao inspiracija za ime naše destilerije – „Pod Mirnim Krovovima“. Naše korene vučemo iz ovog sela, gde smo imali sreću da osetimo harmoniju između prirode i nas samih.

Everything changed when Vali (Vladica Milošević), after years spent abroad, together with his son Philip Milošević, who was born outside the borders of our country, decided to found a distillery. They saw that brandy was in no way behind other world-famous spirits and decided to give it the respect it deserves.

Dugo smo čuvali ovaj ukus samo za sebe, ali nova generacija je odlučila drugačije. Osećali smo da bi bilo sebično ne podeliti ovaj jedinstveni ukus sa svetom. Tako je nastala ideja o rakiji „Uteha Naša„.

Since 2019, we are proudly entering the market with our distillery. We strive not only to create a top quality product, but also an experience that goes beyond taste. We strive to redefine the perception of brandy. Brandy, made from fruit, in our opinion, has a higher intrinsic value than, for example, cereals and barley. To highlight this, we present our brandy in premium packaging that pays tribute to the product.

Our mission is clear: we want to change the perception of brandy and give it the respect it deserves through its visual appearance. We are dedicated to the production of luxurious, pure and natural plum brandy Moravke. With our brandy, we contribute to the preservation of the autochthonous variety Moravke and promote products that are made in harmony with nature.
